I am indebted to Mr Bob Scarff for the following
information and pictures.  I just thought you might like to see these pictures of my Uncle Bob, killed in a crash on 20th March 1942 flying Whitley P4998.
I've included a picture of him with his
fiancée Jean as he was buried on the very day they were due to be married.
His grave is in Gt. St. Mary's church yard, Sawbridgeworth Herts.
