CCMAA - Battle of Atlantic 70th Anniversary
Battle of the Atlantic Commemoration at the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral on Sunday 26 May 2013 which was attended by the Princess Royal.
Members joined their colleagues from the Royal Navy and Merchant Navy remembering the Battle of the Atlantic during events being held in Liverpool over the weekend of 25 and 26 May 2013. The high spot being the service to Commemorate the Battle of the Atlantic at the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral on Sunday 26 May 2013 which was attended by the Princess Royal. A march past of veterans from all three services followed. Virgin Trains supported the Association by providing fifty first class tickets for members to travel to and from Liverpool; a gesture very much appreciated by all.
